Environmental Policy

The directors of WPH are committed to ensuring that the company’s operations take into account all possible impacts on the environment. The company will undertake the following activities and through a process of continuing appraisal and evaluation will adapt and improve them accordingly:

  • Ensuring that all relevant Environmental legislation and regulation is applied

  • Salvage and re-use materials where possible

  • Purchase used materials where practicable

  • Use raw materials in a manner that reduces waste

  • Recycle waste when possible

  • Store materials safely and securely

  • Dispose of unwanted materials in regulated sites

  • Reduce energy usage by increasing energy efficiency

  • Take steps to prevent oil and materials leakage

  • Reduce movement of craft in order to minimise negative environmental impact

  • Keep all of the company’s equipment serviced and well maintained

  • Work closely with the Environment Agency, PLA and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with codes of practice at all times.

WPH ensures that all employees and sub-contractors are familiar and fully compliant with all aspects the company’s Environmental Policy.
